In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we would like to thank all of our clients and friends for their confidence and support over the past year. While we remain focused on our business and our stewardship responsibility to our clients’ financial matters, it is important to remember that these things are only a part of the whole of our lives.
We have all been blessed in many ways, but it is certainly easy to become distracted and fearful in times like these. Sometimes we need to be reminded to “stop and smell the roses.” I received a nice reminder from a good friend, quoting Charles Schultz, the creator of the Peanuts cartoon, saying, “The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most money or the most awards. They are simply the ones who care the most.”
As you reflect during this Thanksgiving holiday and the Christmas holidays to follow, take some time to give thanks for the folks who care the most about you and your family, whether they be children, parents, grandchildren, grandparents, teachers, mentors or simply good friends. These are all people who are deeply worthwhile and make you feel appreciated and special. Give thanks for these and our many blessings; it is almost certain to boost your spirits, and at a time when they need a lift.
Thank you so very much. We wish you a truly joyous and blessed holiday season this year.
