With a spirit of deep gratitude and thanksgiving, we would like to thank all of our clients and friends for their confidence and support over the past many years. While we remain focused on our business and our fiduciary responsibility for our clients’ financial matters, we try to keep in mind that this is only part of our lives.
Aldous Huxley wrote that, “…human beings have an almost infinite capacity for taking things for granted.” This is understandable, and it is easy to be consumed with the “busy-ness” of life.
At this time of year, we remind ourselves to pause and reflect on the many ways we are blessed. Many years ago, a good friend passed along the following quote from Charles Schultz, the creator of the Peanuts cartoon. “The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most money or the most awards. They are simply the ones who care the most.”
This holiday season, we hope you will also please take some time to give thanks for those who care the most for you and your family, whether they be children, parents, grandchildren, grandparents, teachers, mentors or simply good friends. These are all people who are deeply worthwhile and make you feel appreciated and special. Give thanks for these blessings; it is almost certain to boost your spirits.
